Here’s a detailed look at our offerings and the benefits our students receive.

  • EBS Courses Offerings

1. Biblical Studies

  • Old Testament Survey: Immerse yourself in the historical, cultural, and theological contexts of the Old Testament. Gain insights into the lives of key figures and the overarching narrative of God’s covenant with His people. “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness” (2 Timothy 3:16).
  • New Testament Survey: Delve into the life and teachings of Jesus Christ, the early church, and the writings of the apostles. Understand the foundational doctrines of Christianity and their application in today’s world. “For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope” (Romans 15:4).

2. Theology

  • Systematic Theology: Study the core doctrines of the Christian faith, including the nature of God, Christology, soteriology, and eschatology. Develop a coherent and comprehensive understanding of theological principles. “Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers” (1 Timothy 4:16).
  • Historical Theology: Trace the development of Christian thought from the early church to the modern era. Learn about key theologians, movements, and controversies that have shaped the faith. “Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith” (Hebrews 13:7).

3. Ministry and Leadership

  • Pastoral Ministry: Equip yourself with the skills needed for effective pastoral care, preaching, and church administration. Learn how to shepherd a congregation with wisdom and compassion. “Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them—not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be” (1 Peter 5:2).
  • Evangelism and Missions: Understand the biblical basis for evangelism and missions. Gain practical strategies for outreach and cross-cultural ministry. “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” (Matthew 28:19).

4. Christian Education

  • Teaching the Bible: Learn effective methods for teaching the Bible in various settings, from Sunday school to adult education. Develop lesson plans that engage and inspire learners. “Teach me your way, Lord, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name” (Psalm 86:11).
